Player Biography
Dara joined West Brom at the age of 16, signing from the prestigious St Kevin’s Boys in Dublin. At 6ft 2inc is a commanding presence at the back. Dara enjoyed great success in the Albion Academy, being named their Premier League Scholar of the Year for 2016/17. During the 2017/18 season, Dara spent time out on loan with Hereford FC while continuing to train each day with the WBA first team. Dara is dominant in the air, making him a threat in both boxes where he scored a handful of goals for Hereford as well as for Ireland U19’s where he captained his country in the UEFA Elite Phase Qualifiers in Portugal in March 2018. Dara was named Hereford Young Player of the Season following a solid showing while on loan at the club where they won promotion. Dara was picked up by Exeter City on loan for the 2018/19 season where he further developed, and now continues to work on breaking into the first team back at West Bromwich Albion.
